There is only the one operator who knows who I am,

Id like to keep it that way- keeping an element of mystery.
A dangerous weakness of mine- "an attraction for fast women and slow horses"

I think it depends on the representation. If can come across as arrogant, as if he wanted special treatment in the hopes of a good review.
But if it is done right, in an introductory way, based on what I picked up here and there, they do it to ensure, that the lady feels safe, she can look them up and see for herself. And I think, it is a good thing, that they want us to feel comfortable, I appreciate that.
But it is not a requirement, if you are a good guy, you are a good guy either way 😊

Back in the day I was a more active user on a different forum. I visited a certain escort, had a chat, left and reviewed. Another forum member visited afterwards and asked her about me. She readily passed on what I'd told her (where I'm from, where I work etc) and he then relayed the same back to me. He was benign and harmless so no harm done. This lady would have been considered amongst the creme de la creme of established ladies but alas discretion meant nothing to her.

Since then I'll still have conversations with the ladies but 99 times out of a hundred I'll lie about anything personal. What does it really matter anyway?
As for forum names I suspect you have improved odds of getting a better service if they know you use the forums and are an active reviewer. It makes sense but I still think discretion makes more sense.

It's a fine balance, I'll always use my forum name, there is the safety aspect to consider when meeting a complete stranger coming through your door for the first time from a ladies perspective. They can at least check you out or are friends with other ladies who have met you Not ironclad I know but that's how I perceive it.

I think it is a bit creepy to volunteer your forum name unless you are asked about it, or you have had forum conversation with the escort.

I understand where you're coming from but its also about a ladies safety for me. We are all here to meet amazing women but we have a duty to respect their safety as well, I don't see it as a big deal at all, it's an internet name at the end of the day but at least you are giving them an opportunity to check you out and make a decision accordingly.

I used the words fine balance in the previous post for a reason, and to play Devils Advocate. I"ve met this lady the most out of anyone and she is very wise

I agree with some of the comments, I personally don’t ask or give references as a good client for me can mess about with another girl or the opposite way.
I had a client in Derry, long time ago who...

So essentially this whole place is built on a pyramind of TRUST first and foremost, so the question is how to establish trust with someone who for all the forum posts on a forum is a complete stranger in reality.

Well, When I contact anyone around here I only have to mention Maynooth Nursing Home and they know just to hang up and run a mile away from the phone.
