What’s the likelihood of running into the guards outside an escort’s place? Is there still a risk if it’s rural?

Not true, litterally a case in my local paper last week. Man overheard looking for directions then observed entering a building in which the guards obviously knew was used by sex workers, confronted him when he was leaving a half an hour later and he must have admitted to it as he ended up in court. Lucky for him they didn't publish his name though did say he was a married father of three. So it does happen and visiting locations that are overused probably should be avoided.

Garda will always know what apartments/hotels are used for escorting. Ireland is a small country, people talk.

Many escorts rent out from each other, even share.

So, if you want to be safe, in a way, maybe the best choise is to visit an escort who is not sharing.

It's as likely as finding a needle in a haystack full of magnets, not going to happen.
In rural places they are watching out for foxes stealing eggs, nobody is calling the guards because they think there's a bit of hanky panky going on, sure what could you talk about after mass if the guards came and put a stop to the scandal?

I got stopped by the a Garda once while outside the lady's apartment complex at around 10pm. That asked if I lived in the area. What was I doing in the area at that time of night if I didn't live there. I told them I was going to meet a guy I met on Grindr for sex. They looked a bit puzzled but told me to have a good night and left me to it. If ever get stopped again I'll say the same thing

So is it safer to visit in the day time? Also how would they know if the lady was there? Do they camp outside known areas?

Do they always stay outside known places where they expect people to visit? Or was it just an accident that you bumped into them?

I've no idea if they stay outside known places. I'd say it was accidental I bumped into them. They were uniformed Garda so I imagine they were just on a patrol. I probably looked suspicious standing outside the apartment complex waiting for the text for the apartment number so they stopped to check what I was doing.
