Calling etiquette

I am one of the girls who prefers take appointments by call, the reason is you can hear how the guy sounds, if he is drunk or if is someone you want avoid, it’s easier to see the attitude of the person by call, how polite he sounds or if is a rude guy.
When someone call me and I can’t answer, I always reply with a message saying I can’t answer right now but you can call me back in xx minutes.
Some guys to book an appointment, instead of send a full message saying Hello, my name is Xxx, I would like to book an appointment for xx minutes at xx time if you are available, most of them send “ Hey”, “Hi” and nothing more.
Of course sometimes the first contact by WhatsApp or text is handy, most of the girls prefer texts due language barrier, what’s perfectly fine, but I personally will always prefer hear the voice in the other side of the line to confirm the appointment.

I second that, absolutely agree.
First contact always via phone call, unless it is a regular. Confirmation is easier via text, but for first contact it is a good quality/security gate to hear the voice of a new client.
I had whatsapp once for a few days, mostly only timewasters contacted me there, asking for pictures, sending me unsolicited pictures, so I don't think I'll ever have it again.

A lot depends on how much time you have to kill.
