At christmas 2 years ago i got a message from a girl who i saw on a regular basis telling me when she got home from ireland she could not access her money and she was desperate but asked me to spot her until she got back.I gave her €500.When i got the message i thought is she taking advantage of me ,an i burning €500 but i went with my gut .When she got back i offered to pay for the time but no she wouldnt have it ,i got 3 seperate hours from her 220 was her hour rate and when she retired 500 euro ended up back in my revolut account.God i miss that girl so much.

Without knowing more detail but assuming that TonyB is a fairly regular client it would seem to be a poor decision in the longer term. You’d have to assume the woman in question is pretty desperate.

It’s not clear either the timeframe between asking for the repayment and the initial payments.

If 150 is the write off in total and looking at your spending habits in the area I think you will survive and it could have been worse.
