    A few days later
    She texts
Hi baby can I borrow €25 to pay the electricity

    I replied
Yes Sweetie and sent her €25

    This happened a few times.

She borrowed money on a Thursday, and the next day I sent a text.
Hey Sweetie, I am €20 short for an hour appointment. Can I still come?

    Oh baby, she replied.

What does "oh baby" mean? Sounds like no.

    I don't do discount

But I already gave it to you and more.

    No discount baby.

    So no visit.

I'm honestly confused. I won't visit now on principle.

I just can't get my head around her stubbornness.

    Hi baby,

Can I borrow €100 to buy you some common
    Sence??

I genuinely just burst out laughing at this, as I’ve to you a thousand times Tony B, you get what you pay for . . . To be made a right clown of!

    This thread is too funny!!!

Look up the term “rinsing” lads. You’re welcome.

Most cases we are all good friends but lending money can strain even the best relationships thats for sure depending on the person
Its life as we know it

Very true! I lent money to a friend already 2 years ago ..but she never gave me back but I, 'm a positive person and always see the good part in everything : I consider cost me just a few hundred to see how kind of person and friend she is. if she would contact me saying ''look I just don't have to give u in one go this money , but I can give u..20 euro weekly for example or just to say ''sorry C|herry I just don't have it but I didn't forget I own u that money etc '' I would appreciate and understand sometimes we just dont have money ...would not be a problem ..but blocking me and refusing any contact with me just shows no character and shows how much of a ''friend she was.

Maybe Tony can clarify it these previous loan's had been repayed or if they would have been his fee on this occasion?
I never ask for loans to be repaid.
    I never bring them up.

Perhaps this is why I almost never get money returned. Lol
It would be nice if for once I was presently surprised by human nature but I'm repeatedly disappointed.
I still don't see friends stuck and don't plan on changing.
I'll just be more careful with my friends going forward.

It's a shame that the disappointments make us think all requests for help are just another scam.

I Just thought there would be a little give and take.

I think personally it reflects the attitude of parts of todays self centered society who undervalue friendship and lack loyalty and respect

Lending money to friends and family are never a good idea, to this end I have no problem giving money to my nearest and dearest but it’s not a loan it’s a gift and no repayments are needed.

This is genuinely the best way to help people out of any financial pinch they find themselves in.

Totally. The level of disrespect and ingratitude, but she’s burnt her bridges with a good client though I’d suspect she has several other “hey baby’s” to call on for a top up of funds.

I have never given a loan to anyone ...always a gift and only if they are genuine friends . If I asked for a loan I will give the person a payback time or weekly installments...But loan to an escort, no rhyme or reason to part with my hard earned cash unless its a dating transaction.
