Do ladies chat amongst themselves and say he is the guy that gave a bad review ?
I reckon it's all coincidence but just in chatting putting it out there has anyone got that roll on effect?...Is it all to do with ..negative rolls negative and positive always rolls positive..Universe stuff..??? Funny Stuff . I need to get out more 😂
I'm a firm believer of "One man's trash is another man's treasure", so I wouldn't advise any colleague to avoid someone who didn't fancy me, unless they were fradulent or dangerous. I've also "rescued" good clients who had bad experiences with other girls, so I consider it a natural occurence that sometimes it's the other way around.

By the way, when I asked the mods why my reply to your review was left pending, they said it's too personal, but I noticed they also edited out our conflict from your review without me asking for it, so my new reply is changed accordingly, and finally accepted.

    a.) Keep walking
b.) Hmm, I think he fits in my washing machine
Don't wait to get confident. Just do it, and eventually the confidence will follow

In relation to the OPs initial post there are I think a number of psychological factors at work. Some of which are interrelated.

Recency bias tends to overstate events that have occurred recently as against more distant events. You had a bad time recently. You are more likely to be factoring that into your next interaction.

If your last experience was a bad one it tends to loom more disproportionately over you. Studies done on gamblers found that their losses were more significant by a factor of 7 than their wins even if the wins made them profitable. It’s been replicated to a lesser extent in other areas. I can’t recall the term for it off the top of my head.

The converse tends to occur when you have a very run of good events - in sports would be called “hot hands”. I’m invincible. This is all my doing. Etc.

Lots of what can happen you is random and statistically noise related although obviously if you’re a certain type of person the reactions you get from people will start on a different point of the spectrum initially.

Good to see “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” getting an outing. I haven’t heard used in years and this is second time in 24 hours. I’m in a hobby group where yesterday two people put pictures of their “project” up. I’d been interested in it and asked how happy they were with it. One was very happy the other neutral. I said I had been interested but the cheap price and how often it came up for resale had put me off. Quick as a flash the resident doomsayer piped up with “it’s cheap because it’s shit”. The flame war was extinguished pretty quickly by the chief moderator (a real gent) piped up with “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Discussion over. You’re both in good company .
