When using the letter "I" in the middle of a sentence but not at the beginning ,should it be capitalised or lower case? Im under the impression it should be the captial I.
is this right?

I is always capital.
Sometimes when I think of a common word, it suddenly seems really weird all of a sudden and it looks as if it's spelt wrong when I know it isn't.
Try it, think about a common word (although less common and straightforward than "word"), really think really hard about it, and you'll end up convincing yourself that it looks really strange or is spelt wrong.
I thought it was funny before when someone (probably a kid or early teen) couldn't spell the word "ad" correctly, I mean it's a TWO LETTER WORD. I've never heard of anyone not being able to spell a one letter word correctly though, if capitalization counts.
