Thread: What's the story with the law of clients getting punished?

  1. Default What's the story with the law of clients getting punished?

Just curious as I have stopped going to any ladies since the law came in. Obviously I can see from the reviews left for different ladies people are still visiting.

I was having a chat with a few friends the other day and they said that the law has loopholes in it. Didn't understand what that meant to be honest.

Anything you read such as they can't prove you paid is nonsense.
If you are with an escort then you better have a good and legal plausible reason to be there.

This said it's unlikely you'll be caught and it appears to be you've a good chance they won't bother with you even if they do.

There is a chance but it's very very small.

I suggest it's worth the negligible risk

So when did this law come in? Before you registered on the site last April?

I could imagine him sitting around the dinner table with a few friends chatting about everything, the weather, the football, and casually bringing up the subject of the Law.

Nobody cares about behind-closed-doors action between consenting adults. What the authorities are trying to stop are brothels, trafficking, and girls on the street. This is why I am so against seeing opt-outs, you could be walking into a very dodgy situation, not just with the girl, but with the law.
Try to avoid standing outside looking sus, only see opt-ins, and always trust your gut. If your gut is telling you something is off, then something is probably off!

The loop hole requires you not confessing to the law. Quite simple really. Just shut the fuck up. Some folk just can't handle it though.

Don't worry about it. There's too many people in high places that rely on the services of escorts.

Most of the law around sex work is for show or to give the service providers a hard time (Sadly!). And occasionally they'll do a big bust or a few small busts to show they out there doing there job. Even then, they'll only prosecute if you practically beg them.

The laws in Ireland don't punish the punter very often, they're a bit more enthusiastic about punishing providers though. This is somthing that has to change, but on the whole clamping down on sex work is definitely not a major focus from the Garda at the moment. Especially with elections coming up, no one wants to rock the boat

Means the filth are thick as mince, we got the same eejits over here, sure they're bonking the girls themselves and on few occasions they've been known to walk from brothels with their trousers on back to front, like you really would be a very very unlucky client to be caught by one the yokes
