It’s a fantastic service to get for free. Although I still do an annual check in person (also free / anonymous if you go hse gums clinic) as the test coverage there is more comprehensive.
With the free HSE one above just watch out for text messages, I think you need to verify your number but they text advising your kit has arrived, the results and about a survey and none are discreet. So don't be connected to the cars Bluetooth or in viewing distance if you want it kept private. The survey one caught me it was about a week later it arrived.

An sti screen and test is pretty meaningless once you have exposed yourself to risk. So if you have practised unsafe sex with someone that is also doing likewise then that recent test result is redundant. So the best thing you can do is use protection for all services that pose a risk. OWO is lower risk because sti’s that can transmit this way do not tend to thrive in the throat and clear up without treatment. Use of mouthwash is proven to reduce incidence of infection in the throat. However, this is not a guarantee but just pointing out transmission this way is unlikely but not impossible. Obviously transmission can only happen in the first instance if the disease is present.So in summary there is no guarantees but there is risk mitigation steps that should allow you to have fun without picking up something if carefully taken. No harm to stir clear of significant other for few days if you think you may have slipped up to be sure there are no signs and maybe get a test to be sure. Others here may have different slant.
