    Default Saint Patrick’s weekend plans

    Morning everyone!

Happy Saint Patrick’s day bank holiday weekend! Ever hear that saying that Saint Patrick’s Day is a bit like Valentine’s Day only for its people who like Jameson and bad decisions ha ha ha, what is everyone up to for the weekend?

I’m looking forward to Mayo v Derry in Castlebar on Sunday, Hope to God it’s not lashing rain like it normally always on Saint Patrick’s Day!!! There is a small little town in North Mayo that does an evening parade with a light show so going to head to that in the evening.

No Jameson for me, I’ll be sticking to my coffees & bubble teas ha ha ha!!

I’d say the lads over in Cheltenham are having a ball, I’ve had a few requests for virtual from guys in their hotel room with an escort or two already with them go hard or go home, eh?

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend whatever you are up to xxx

    Parade Sunday

Relax the rest, having a dry weekend, hangover free. Cook some food and enjoy my time with the family

Paddy's day has never been a thing for me, or anyone I know. I live in Dublin city, and I haven't gone to the parade since I was like 7 years old.

The prevailing thought amongst everything I know is that it is for tourists and kids, and I'm neither.

    Rugby tomorrow though.

Oh I hear ya, I have been to the parade in the city centre on numerous occasions but I’ve always hated it, I can’t stand the crowds & pushing & shoving!!!

I don’t mind it in smaller towns Where are the crowds aren’t so hectic with Dublin city centre on Saint Patrick’s day would be my worst nightmare!!!

Once kids grow out of parade no real interest in it. I admire the massive effort put in by many of the groups and it’s a huge tourist draw. There’s one nearby in the suburbs we sometimes go to if weathers ok.

Rugby tomorrow with my dad. More for him than me. It’s one of the few sports I’d rather watch at home. The atmosphere for me is never as good as a soccer game or a good GAA match.

Weather showing signs of life as well. May be able to get out without returning like a drowned rat. Swimming can’t be too far off either. Was out in Portmarnock last Monday and the older ladies are going in which is a sure sign spring has arrived 😁.
