Thread: Internet Security

    Default Internet Security

I submitted a review yesterday and received an email back from Adrian Support to say that it was deleted because I used a proxy server and that I should resubmit after turning my VPN off. The proxy server and VPN are both in place for my internet security and no one should be recommending that these are turned off. Does Adrian even work for Escort Ireland, there is nothing in the email to prove this, no logo. Is it legit and why?

    Hi there,
Thanks for your message. Adrian is part of the staff, and the request is made to any VPN or TOR users to identify the reviews are not fake. The same requirement is made to all users equally in case that you want the review published. We apologize for any issues this can cause.

    Hi
I turned the VPN off and resubmitted my review only to receive the same reply from Adrian. Previous reviews have been accepted without problem and nothing has been altered so what going wrong. With a name and password you know I am not fake and the review is not negative so why would it be fake.

    Hi again,
Please check some of the tips he mentioned. As you said, your previous reviews were correct, but for some reason, they are showing as made from a different country.
    Roger.

This rule was introduced by Sofia about a year ago, which is why your previous ones went through ok. It is a mistake, in my opinion, as many clients simply will not review if they are not able to preserve anonymity, and I hoped it would be changed back after Sofia left.

I tried a few technology solutions, but nothing worked until I started leaving reviews from a cafe where I could find a quiet corner and submit a review (without vpn) on their internet. It's a nuisance, but there is no way I want my personal IP address floating around on the EI server.

Thanks to MidlifeCrisis for his reply. I have tried everything to get this review accepted, including turning of VPN and checking location on PC, Mobile phone and Router (all showed correct location within a few miles). Anyone know what system EI use to check location. It obviously isn't IP address as I checked this and it too is correct.
