    Default Escort's phone stolen

An escort had her phone stolen last night.

She had to return home early this morning or miss her flight, so she is now home.

She has the phone number, excellent pictures of the thief and approximate location of the thief.

I have suggested she call the local Gardai here in Dublin and expain what has happened.

I'm curious how the Gardai will react, hopefully well.

Anyone any suggestions of what else she can do?
She only wants her phone, the hassle she will just put down to stupidity.

Definitely report the thief to the Gardai. Can be letting scumbags get away with robbing people. If it was a punter that stole it she definitely needs to warn other ladies also

The Gardai are putting obstacles in her way. Basically they don't want to know.
They want to go to the house she was in, but new girls are there now and she can't have that.
And anyway it serves no purpose to go to the house she was in last night, she's in Romania.

To be honest this is the type of carry on I expected from the Gardai, make things difficult so they don't have to do anything.

The confidence in Gardai is at an all time low and it's for reasons like this. I had a neighbour who's house was broken into a few months back, reported it and the gardai arrived the next day. Basically told him that unless someone knows who done it he may kiss his belongings goodbye. If I was that undedicated to my job I'd have been booted a long time ago.....

She can find her phone with Gmail
Just Google search how to find phone and it will give a step by step guide

Find, secure, or erase your device remotely

On a browser, go to android.com/find.

Sign in to your Google Account. ...

The lost device gets a notification.

On the map, you'll get info about where the device is. ...

If you get a prompt, tap Enable lock & erase.

Select what you want to do:

She could also login to her Gmail and go to locations then current location and this will also give her the exact location of her phone

Worth a try just incase she's dropped it down the side of the bed and her client didn't take it

If the address she was staying show's up as the current location then mystery solved!?

If not then knowing the address of the guy who took it might gain her some leverage in having it returned!!

How does she have photos of the thief ?
To be honest i don't see any point in going to the guard's. They will have zero interest in looking for a phone that belongs to a girl that is now in another country. They can't interview her or she can't make a statement either. It would not be advisable to go after the thief either as she is in a vulnerable job. I would suggest forget about it and learn from the experience.

I am l inclined to agree with Benny123. Is she wiling to fly back to Dublin and give evidence in Court againsf the thief? If the answer is not 100% yes, then forget it. She can claim off her insurance and ease the pain somewhat.

'Photos of the thief' ?? That's a concern considering she doesn't have her phone. Smacks of a ''minder' watching punters come and go and taking photos and car reg numbers. Not the only lady on the site with that 'modus operandi' ... speaking from personal experience.

I think it only fair that you give us some more info on that. What type of ' modus operandi' should we expect out there ?
