The Gardai are putting obstacles in her way. Basically they don't want to know.
They want to go to the house she was in, but new girls are there now and she can't have that.
And anyway it serves no purpose to go to the house she was in last night, she's in Romania.

To be honest this is the type of carry on I expected from the Gardai, make things difficult so they don't have to do anything.

The confidence in Gardai is at an all time low and it's for reasons like this. I had a neighbour who's house was broken into a few months back, reported it and the gardai arrived the next day. Basically told him that unless someone knows who done it he may kiss his belongings goodbye. If I was that undedicated to my job I'd have been booted a long time ago.....
