I got an update on this unfortunately it isnt good news the poor guy is brain damaged and his mobility has been badly affected as result of his overdose attempt.family are obviously devastated.
He rang who he thought was a trans escort but after investigating it was a scam not a legit advertiser gone nasty just a scammer preying on guys.It wasnt EI Avertiser either it was something like eimple sescorts.

not just London, it really all over the UK and Revolut is now a pain as police can not track them the same way as Bank transfers.
These escorts, pimps and scammers were using Paypal for years but then guys were doing chargebacks so they stopped doing this and then moved on to BT where their information was passed on to police and some were caught, they were eastern European, now using Revolut and as i said difficult to track.
Never ever give a deposit or share your details with anyone and when visiting new escorts leave your wallet with id in the car.
Even way back i only took the correct amount of cash with me and hide it under an insole i specially bought for the job in my Nike Runners

That's an extremely sad story beyond belief if true.
