I got a message from A moderator saying a review can’t be posted because it’s from a proxy server and to turn off my VPN ???
I just did what I normally do when submitting a review can anyone explain because it makes no sense to me.

I'm surprised you have not hit this problem before, because the rules changed almost a year ago, and you have reviewed since then. Sofia decided to ban reviews when using a vpn, which is a major pain. She claimed that lots of escorts were using vpn to submit fake reviews for themselves, and this was the only solution the team could come up with.Originally Posted by ford pefect
There's no way I would use the site from my home IP without vpn for obvious reasons, so I stopped reviewing for a while. Then I found a couple of cafes where it was easy to use the site discreetly over their wifi, and I just use those to leave reviews.
If you are not using a vpn or proxy, I have no idea why this problem would crop up suddenly. If you are, perhaps you are using a less well-known one and the site has just realised that it is an indirect IP.
Maybe the new moderators will lift this annoying rule?

I login into EI using DuckDuckGo browser as always so I have no idea why is now a problem
