Thread: Review system - again

    Default Review system - again

So I fell for another bait and switch today. My fault for going to someone with 2 reviews. Tried to review it, but the review is suspended because I went through with it even the person didn't look like the one advertising.

So the issue is this: I get that you can't review the girl if that wasn't the person you met, hardly fair on the person in the photos. The thing is, not allowing a review means that nobody else gets warned about the fact that that person isn't real. So everyone else gets to make the same mistake, again and again. If we can't review a false advertiser, then is there a system in place to help let others know that that profile has fake photos or is misrepresenting entirely who the person is? If you decide to go through the meet anyway, coz hey, you've just travelled so far/are so horny/have waited so long/insert reason here/etc, then you should at least be able to flag that the person wasn't the one advertising, so that way others know there is A person there, but just not the one they're expecting. After a certain amount of flags are given to a given SP, everyone would at least know the deal.

If you go into her gallery tab, scroll down and you will see a "report fake photos " button and you can also report the profile if you suspect that profile is used by someone else.

Yeah, I had a look at that, but when you try to report images that way, it explicitly states: "If you think the photos used above have been taken from another site or breach the non expicit terms of our site please fill out the following report."
Obviously I can't tell if they're from another site, I just know they're not her.

It's unfortunate that you can't report this. It's definitely an important aspect. You can go to the section called 'warning' and post there. Since not many clients are EI members, probably not many will see it, but I can't see what else you can do if it's not allowed to leave a review about this.

I'm going to hazard a guess that it went nowhere.

That's just it, the current system sucks. You have to walk away in order to report it, and let's be honest, from a punter's point of view, you've made plans, got cash, wrangled time off work, travelled, etc, so by the time you get there you just want to do what you came to do. The idea of just walking away and going through it all again is enough to make you just decide to go ahead with it anyway. But then that removes your opportunity to alert others to the fact, so the cycle continues for the next guy. Crazy stuff.

Sorry to heap it on like this, Penguin, but I drop you a PM, in this as you no doubt see. Would be real real grateful for a brief answer. Best wishes and sorry for the disappointment.

Agreed, but the site does not change this sort of rule, and we have only our weak wills to blame. As several have said, walking away is not that easy. Sometimes it is only after a few minutes that you are sure you have been conned, and many of us invest a lot of time getting to a location on time, scrubbed and ready.

People talk about having a Plan B, but realistically that is going to set you back an hour or two most of the time.
