How many of you actually go for massages?

I visited my regular massage provider today - she is always great, very highly rated in this community and a lovely woman…but in chatting with her she commented that weekends are very quiet - she said I was her only customer today (at 5pm) and that Fridays and Saturdays are very quiet. I was a bit shocked as IMO she is great - I would see her multiple times a week if I could … so it got me thinking … when do you guys visit masseuses? And how often? Or are there loads of keyboard warriors here who talk a good game but don’t follow through?

1 person is hardly a large sample and I expect masseuses no matter how good go in and out of fashion no more than anything else. Post Christmas months are probably quieter than others. I get the sense talking to other providers things are quiet so your lady’s experience may not be unique.

I go during the week generally. I work part time so that suits me. I’m quite new to the massage scene. Much newer than to escorting scene. I would go at least once a fortnight for an hour and have seen 4 different providers in the last 3 months time 2 of them a few times and the most recent would see again. The lady I saw most before that changed location and schedule which didn’t suit me and I haven’t really found the same quality since.

It must be quite depressing for a sole trader to have a single visitor of a Friday by 5 pm in addition to the lack of income. If she is on here I would suggest leaving a review or mentioning her in massage thread. I’m sure it would be appreciated. You may have done so already but I’m c@@p with technology so don’t know how to check someone’s reviews.

Very surprised that Fridays are slow, i would have thought to the contrary.

For me , a really good erotic massage is up there with FS. A mention of the OP's lady would be a good idea.

I went a lot pre COVID... But since then not as much . Still I try to go 1 a fortnight now. Or alternate .either massage or escort... Massage is as expensive now

Maybe it’s the location slows her down.I was trying to make a booking in fangs yesterday was told all booked up

Booking is pretty much essential for fangs but it’s one of the “mothership” locations in the city. It’s a bit conveyor belt but well organised.

Everything I’ve seen about L@@a is all positive so I’d agree with the comment location is an issue. It’s off the beaten track (relatively)

I see a regular weekly or fortnightly, she says it's very quiet since Christmas, also business impacted by weather, if it's lashing or freezing people less likely to head out, if it's beaming sunshine people more likely to be taking advantage of the sun, can be a tricky enough field to make a steady income.

Great point on weather Phil. I was involved in retail for about 20 years and you could see the shop takings plummet in bad weather . That and roadworks nearby were killers.

Bad weather extends to the experience itself sometimes. I visited a place a fortnight ago at lunchtime. One of the warmer drier days recently. I only gave her 10/15 minutes notice to be fair but when I arrived the massage room was still on the cold side as she’d just turned on heater. First caller of the day (open since 11). I can totally understand keeping the bills down but it’s not the greatest of starts. 15 minutes in Id forgotten about it to be fair but if it had been a colder and wetter day I might have made my excuses and left.

It feels a bit conveyor belt when the masseuse cleans the room while you get dressed. In other places I've been, you at least get dressed in private, and don't get the feeling that you need to hurry before the next customer arrives.
