Ladies and Gentlemen, it's now time to declare the February 2010 winner of Escort of the Month...and the winner is...

Elle of Edinburgh Escort Reviews of Elle, Irish escort from Escort Ireland

This month the competition was extremely close between Elle and Anna. Anna would have won by 1 point but I found that a singal review by Eoin3 is kinda suspect. Basically he only has two reviews and there both of Anna. For that reason I'm not counting it. So therefore Elle is the winner and is now Miss February E-I 2010. Elle is the winner of a months free advertising on E-I.

OK Guys its time for some new and very strict rules for Escort of the Month. These days there are about 1,000 reviews being posted a month. Alot of these reviews are from first time reviewers. This is wrecking my head. So I'm changing the points scoring...

So here are the New rules which will come into affect as of now.

1. Points are scored by reviews.

A review only counts if the Reviewer is 6 months registered and has 10 reviews posted without any rats on his profile. The points per review are...
+1 point for a positive review,
-1 point for negative review,
0 points for neutral reviews,

However if the reviewer has a trusted reviewer stamp then their positive reviews are marked as 4 points and negative reviews marked as -4 points with neutral reviews as 0 points.

2. As we all know nobody is allowed post more than one review of the same escort. So once a Reviewer posts a review of an escort thats the only point(s) that the Escort will ever recieve from that profile. So if a reviewer posts new updated reviews of their favourite Escort it won't be counted.

3. N/A reviews obviously don't count as do Rat reviews. Also reviews marked positive but read negative and vice versa are considered miss-reviews and are not counted either, so please take care while marking reviews folks.

4. At the end of every month the top scoring girl is declared the winner. In the event of a tie then those girls scoring equal points will all win together.

5. No Escort can win consecutive months.

6. The winner/s will recieve free advertising for a month. In the event that the winner/s are not going to be working the following month they will instead recieve credit/refunds.

Some fine clarification there Ric, but rule 5, an escort can't win 2 months in a row, where would Johnny Logan be if that was the case, Man utd, liverpoool ( when they had a decent team ), Roger Federer and i could go on, the point is if one particular escort is head and shoulders ( i'm not talking about Violette here )above her other participants, then if she triumphs consistently she should be rewarded likewise, she may be knackered tired after two or three months though .

Rule 5 has been there from the beginning, I think. You could argue that it makes the competition less fair, but more interesting. No one wants to follow a competition where the winners are always the same. FA, are you reading this?

Just how were these "trusted reviewer stamp"s awarded. From what I hear they were just given to friends of those who had the power to issue them. Where can we see the criteria used to award them?

I actually begged Nbt for one before he resigned his post and got himself banned

I am not sure what criteria were used in the decision but, as I don't have any friends in power(or otherwise) on E-I, I can only assume that my regular(mostly fair-minded) posting and reviews over a 2 year period formed the basis of my award of 'trusted reviewer'. Not sure how everyone else got theirs.

As most folks who know me i'm a girl of few words, It was a pleasant surprise to wake up to this award.
First thanks goes to Ric for trawling through so many reviews and running the competition.
To the client's old and new who support me through difficult times financially.
To the guys and girls who have expressed their congratulations on this thread.
I had budgeted for next months advertising costs in advance of this award, and as such have decided to donate £250 into my local oxfam Haiti appeal.
I have expressed concerns regarding the review system many times and while no system is watertight the new rules that Ric has introduced only emphasise the need to make it a fair and level playing field for all.
The jury is still out on my continued inclusion in the review system but providing that i can see positive steps in the right direction which are starting to materialise behind the scenes then i'm happy that the review system warrants my inclusion.
