I often write poetry to lament an awful punt in lieu of a review.


Roses are red, violets are blue,
In the dance of desire, dreams askew.
A failed conquest, a fleeting spark,
Passion's flame dimmed in the dark.

In shadows cast by what might have been,
Echoes linger of a love unseen.
A moment's hope, now turned to dust,
In the wreckage of what couldn't adjust.

The petals fall, petals of regret,
A symphony of longing we can't forget.
A silent elegy for what slipped away,
In the garden of love, where memories stay.

Although it's about a negative experience, I feel that channelling that negativity into shit poetry is a positive and creative means of dealing with it
