There are a number of other people who have also commented on this thread that said they read it as complimentary. I'm not the only one arguing black is white. But whatever. People are allowed to have different opinions and I think we've gotten to the point of having exchanged our points of view. There's not too much else to say really.

To me, mousey is a natural hair colour. I would describe friends as having mousey hair without any insult intended or received. All of them (the women anyway) would love a comparison to a 20 year old Taylor.

You can decide that that is disingeuous or argumentative. I can't help how you interpret it, but there's no need for us to be tetchy on it. You generally have a pretty good take on stuff, but on this occasion I disagree with you and think you're being unnecessarily harsh on Tony - who I don't know, and as I nordie, probably don't want to. The world won't end. We can disagree and move on, but I won't question that you're holding an honest opinion, or think you're trying to be argumentative. It would be great if you could reciprocate.
