Split reported for Theron and Townsend
Charlize Theron and her Irish boyfriend Stuart Townsend are reported to have split after a nine year relationship.
The couple, who met on the set of the 2001 film 'Trapped', are believed to have split after a trip to Mexico during the Christmas holidays.
A source in the Mail on Sunday is quoted as saying "Stuart is gutted but Charlize said that she realised during the Mexican holiday the relationship was over. They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it."
The source added "She loved Stuart but their relationship ran its course. He is heartbroken but she is insisting it is over. Charlize was surprised the story hadn't come out yet. But she didn't confirm it because she wanted to break the news in her own time."
There has been no official confirmation of the break-up from Theron's spokesperson.
Sorry to see this but if Charlize is looking for a new man in her life I am ready willing and able for the job.
