Personally I wouldn't date someone who is too inexperienced, I don't have the patience to be a teacher.

But that doesn't always mean they have to have a high body count, you can gain a lot of experience with one guy. But if the experience is gained through a high number of partners that wouldn't bother me either.

What might bother me is if this potential partner has regularly engaged in dangerous behavious to get to that high body count, like putting herself in risky situations in order to get laid, that's somthing that would be in the back of my mind if we dated. But again, probably not a deal-breaker for me, people can change and grow.

Also as a side-note I would never consider sex-work dangerous behavior (in general). I'm more talking about getting wasted and waiting outside a bar at closing.

Lots of wild, safe, fun sex with lots of diffrent people? - Good.
Lots of sex while occasionally putting yourself into dangerous scenarios? - Bad

One speaks to an open-minded and expierenced sexual partner
The other speaks to potentially somewhat problematic and self-destructive behavior

There's a lot of nuance involved in questions like this one Michelle! I'm finding it hard to explain my feelings lol

I would say a "high-value" male is very individual. One womans 2/10 is anothers 10/10.

The same can be said for men I think, if you were to talk about what a "high-value" woman might be, diffrent strokes for diffrent folks.

So this is an intresting thread

    I'm 43, bodycount 10, loved 1. Escort 50+

So numbers don't make sense above as I was in a relationship for 14+ years and didn't see escorts in that time, I've only recently started again.

From a guy who dated when everything was bar based, club based or meeting a girl in work etc to a guy who dates on the apps, things in my opinion have changed big time..

For me personally a body count doesn't matter, it's their past and it's that past that made them the person they are today. What I suppose would bother me more is the lie. Maybe it's due to my own past but if they lied about this and you found out then thrust in that person takes a hit.

For my perspective when I'm dating I really don't at my age seek the number, we all have been around, and in general we are looking for " love" as jenny said . I had the opportunity to go into a few long term relationships recently from the apps lately but I just didn't have click I suppose. I'm not a player just if the feeling isn't there it's not.

Dating is very different now compared to 17 years ago and as a previous poster said most women are looking for the top 10% guys ( guys on 150k plus, has house. No kids, abs) but in turn some of those guys just look for fun and only settle for women who are models. Then this leaves us ordinary guys with very little chance on the apps. As for the vids on social media stating high value guys etc I think that is true but who is a high value guy these days money ain't everything if he is a prick. And double standards ain't the way to go.

As a mature man in me 60's I can safely say that me body count is successful !

1, What is your body count? 73
2, Do you remember it or do you make some list? Notches on me bedpost lol
3, Is body count of your partner important to you? Why? Important to me so i know I've still got it
4, Is there some ideal body count for woman? For man? For woman the less the better. For man the morn the better
5, Are you asking about it? Wat?

I enjoy this topic but I never speak directly with partners about it.

    Early thirties. Body count:
    Women: 12
    Men: ~60
    Escorts: 9

Have a list of the women. Men I’ve lost count so don’t bother :/

I don’t think body count is a good metric to evaluate a partner. I would never judge someone on a high number.

But I do care about other aspects of a potential partners past:

Number and length of previous relationships. e.g If someone my age has countless short term relationships back to back, I would consider it a red flag. It tells me they either can’t pick a compatible person or that they can’t deal with normal challenges every healthy relationship will face

I don’t date people that have previous rejected me. Was a quiet guy in my teens/twenties. Was overlooked by most women in my home town back then. Still live there. Now earn 6 figures and look after my wellbeing. I watched most of those girls get used by the same handful of guys, only to try date me a few years later. Yes, it’s no doubt a fragile male ego thing, but even if I find them attractive, I don’t want to be their 2nd, 3rd or 4th pick.

I did also once break up with someone whom I know did moderately kinky sexual acts with multiple partners in the past but would not do them with me (both she and her friends told me as much). It was otherwise a stable long term relationship with decent open communication. Again, fragile male ego but I don’t like the idea of a my long term partner giving more sexual experiences to another men than to me.

So yeah, I have hangups, but body count ain’t them. I also dodge sexual past questions cause most women don’t seem to react positively to finding out that I’ve slept with more men than they have
