Surprised at timing. Not ideal although players might try to send him out on a high.
    Try ?

Stevie G, Lampard and Rooney should all never get manage a Premier league club again, they've all proven to be great players and useless managers. Being a great player or a great manager have nothing to do with each other, as countless great managers have proven. My money (and hopes) are on Alonso. He's taken the Bundesliga by storm, and playing attractive football while at it. It may be early in his managerial career, but he's off to a flyer, there's no arguing with that.

I think Nagelsmann's got a great shot. He's only on a short term contract with the German national team. He was harshly sacked by Bayern imo. Wouldn't be surprised if Klopp puts in a good word for his fellow German

Kloop be a massive loss for Liverpool, he has just moulded a version 2 team of youngster's similar to team he pulled together when he started, premiership will miss him too as he is a very likeable character, hopefully the likes of Salah wont go now when they hear he leaving
