Being able to distinguish very (dis)satisfied from somewhat (dis)satisfied at a glance would be good. Even having two different shades of green or of red would probably be enough.

I like the idea of different symbols for definitely fake and possibly fake reviews. Sometimes reviews which are definitely fake are simply deleted, but I prefer to see that an escort has fake reviews, so I know to be cautious with her other reviews. Of course, like many ideas, this one will only work if applied consistently.

I don't like the idea of deciding on reviewer status by number of posts and reviews. If someone posts often enough that I think I have some understanding of his personality then I take his reviews more or less seriously as a result, but I don't care if someone has 100 "drop one keep one" posts.

Counting reviews is possibly even worse. There are two types of fake reviews in the system. Some escorts write their own reviews. The corresponding "reviewers" tend to have one, or occasionally two, reviews. These are never going to get "trusted reviewer" status, no matter how it's given. Then there are professional reviewers, people who go around to escorts asking for money or discounts in exchange for reviews. The really sleazy ones ask for money or discounts in exchange for not writing bad reviews. These reviewers tend to have many reviews, so any system which just counts reviews is very convenient for them.

It is a imperfect system, but on balance to keep eveyone happy it is not the worst. The one thing I believe needs to be changed is the N/A symbol used for when an escort does not keep an appointment or for when you get there and she has hairy arms and a beard and you turn tail and run. To me these rate highly the on worst things an escort can do list. I know what you are thinking u have had no service so you cannot review. Well I think from the moment you phone and agree to make an appointment the service has begun(like any other contract). If you get there and complete your business and do not like it it is your opinion, one mans meat and all that, but if you make an appointment and the escort breaks it, well thats real. I have travelled along way on occasion and had no shows costing me money and a lot of frustration.

Patricia i dont agree with you that colour coded meanings would be difficult for the average user, once you have learnt, you know. Some people in general wont be arsed what colour means what. but im sure if there is a colour code on the page of the review that can be seen every time you click on to read a review im sure people will pick it up. xxxxxx

Interesting statistic. I had always wondered what proportion of meetings actually resulted in a review being submitted. I know that it will probably vary greatly between escorts, but 1 in 25 sounds reasonable.

I am for real Taylor. to suggest that escorts need to get us back for time wasting is really not very helpful. My point is that N/A means Not Applicable. This is confusing to new users , it was for me and to the three people I introduced to this site. We all thought the site was deeming these reviews as Not Applicable. My suggestion is N/V for No Visit or B/A for Broken Appointment. I agree that time wasters are a real problem, it seems to be endemic in Dublin and the reason some Escots wont work there.

They regiserted to leave a review and where never heard from again i.e. no activity
In addition 2 more have only two reviews.
Questionable activity on your account? Either its fraud or its a result of you asking people
to leave reviews how never left them before.

and it should be highlighted on review page list somehow that
this reviewer is written by such a reviewer, its the biggest problem with system

I don't Think its silly that we can see from the symbols the
mark the escorts got from very dissatfied to very sastfied it would seperate the very good
from the good and the very bad from the bad.

I think maybe with hindsight the different badges idea is a bit
too complicated.

I estimate its about one in 275

According to review stats there are 15891 reviews in system From 2006 to 2009

Number of punts best case
4 years * 365 days* 6 punts a day * 700 escorts = 6132000
number of punts worst case
4 years * 365 * 4 punts a day *500 escorts = 2920000

Number of punts /number of reviews best case = 0.2606%
Number of punts /number of reviews worst case = 0.544%

Of course when you take repeat punts into account and that the fact
that only one review is allowed per punter per escort this would drop the figure towards your estimate by how much I don't know.

When the review is being entered all the photos on the profile at that point in time should be available to be easily seen by the reviewer. Then that set of photos can be saved with the review. Or maybe even the reviewer could indicate for each photo how accurate it is.

I suggest moving this part of the thread to the new Reviews' section. At the moment, when you add an escort to your favourites, it keeps her photo, regardless of whether she is active or not. When saving the review one or even all of her photos could be saved in the same manner. I think it's a good idea Jackpot!

Would e.i have to pay for a sh1tload more net space to hold all these photos? The idea of having pix there at the time of the review, which cannot be changed, is a good one. But it would create a lot more work for e.i staff, i.e if a escort changed her photos during the time the ad was being submitted, and by the time the pix were changed, review mods would have to track down the old photos to attatch them to the old review.
