    Default Mail shot

A friend mine lives in a suburb of Dublin.

Everyone in his area has been getting in their mail box a printed page showing a young woman who is advertising on another site as an escort. This page shows a picture of her and gives her name, her phone number, address and what she offers in her advert.

Embarrassing for the poor girl and in my opinion the older woman putting this information in the door of neighbours is completely out of order. This young escort is operating behind closed doors and it’s none of her business what she is doing.

I think there is a law against this. I have heard adverts on the radio about men putting up private pictures of girlfriends on the Internet. I am not sufficiently familiar with related laws but if I could think of something to complain about I would make a complaint to the Gardai about this appalling mail shot.

There is a law against this, but it would mean the escort has to report it to the Garda.

Sadly IMO there is not, unless the poster.is lies it.is not defamatory. Unless the pictires are explicitly porn/ sexual in nature she has no redress.

I would still like to expose the horrible person behind it. Calling her in the middle of the night,.making her life hell.

    Karma will hopefully get her.

I'd report that to the guards but in a clandestine way. It's akin to revenge porn which is illegal.

If not, I'd make the same printout but change all the details and pic to the old woman, hand it out to all the neighbors and tell them that she's selling sex from her house. See how she likes it.

It is public harassment at the very least ?

Surely there Must be some law on the books about it ??

:: IF there were some open minded people / parents on the block who would feel affronted by such material

in their mailboxes .. : who know Nothing about this girl >> Because she runs her life as to not be a nuisance

to her neighbors , then the ‘Exposer’ spamming post boxes could be complained against .

Feel bad for the girl - especially if she’s discreet , low key , minding her own business on the quiet
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

I was going to suggest sending it on WhatsApp, then I thought no that's sort of the same thing that I'm complaining others have done.
    Although for different reasons.

    I'm really annoyed by this

I see the escorts adverts have been removed

Not much you can do but put dog shit on her door knob or slap a stinking fish through the letter box over night.......
