As i have Said on my GoFundMe page.I have dealt with hormonal changes and cysts all my life ( i have hypothyroid aswell so it can cause a lot of hormonal damage) and also diabetes .
I gave birth to my Amazing son in February 2023 and At the 6 week postpartum OB-GYN appointment i found out another cyst has grew .
My cysts until then were 3,8cm maximum ,But this one was measuring around 6cm .
My gynecologyst Said not to worry about it and we tried to treat it and make it go smaller with hormonal treatment , natural pills and oral contraceptives.
My Roma score At the moment was 6% ( What goes above 11,4% is high risk of finding cancer ) But she also Said not to worry about it as it can grow Even with benign tumors But i have found i strange because in my past when i get cysts , my Roma score was very low ,1%. Months passed by , i Started getting pains here and there ,
But my son was very small So i Didn t really pay attention , asked my gynecologyst and she Said it is normal because the cyst is quite big and is pressing on my pelvic and sciatic nerve ( was getting lower back pain and leg pain ).
In November i had a very very big pain that i Could not Even walk and i had to go to the ER Where they measured my cyst again and we found out it grew to nearly 7cm .
They did not know What nature it had But it looked entometriosic and they suggested to get another Roma score test , a pap smear and a MRI .
I went home after that night and in the morning i went straight to the Lab to do these tests , ROMA came back with a very near the limit for high risk 10,6 , altough it was still low risk But very very near the limit .
I was scared to do the MRI At that point . 3 weeks after , just before Christmas i took courage and made an MRI aswell where they measured all my things in my pelvic floor area Where they found many Bad things But about the cyst they had discovered it is not a cyst anymore , it is a tumor , and it is malignous.
My gunecologyst asked me to go after christmas to her private clinic for 1 full day to run a LOT of tests , also blood tests to check my kidney function, xrays for my chest , Heart function, just to make sure all of my other organs are ok .So that is how i found out i have cancer just before christmas and confirmed after christmas .
I hope i have mentioned everything as it s been a very tough and busy month and my head is full.
Also , i have not Said it here before But in my pap smear i Also got diagnosed not just with ovarian cancer But with ASC US aswell , wich means abnormal cells on the cervix , a wound on the cervix .
I was scared i was Gonna get 2 forms of cancer But it was not the case , as a colposcopy was required to examine the cervix and no cancer was found , just abnormal cells and a wound and we did a LEEP procedure in a private clinic which is basically an electrosurgical procedure to burn all the abnormal cells So it doesn t develop to cervical cancer in the future .
At this very moment my tumor has grew to more than 8cm , my oncologyst has more of the records But NexT week i am going for some new tests we Need to run before they decide how to do the surgery and will keep you updated So you can all see Where your hard earned money raised in donations is going.
