Gonna probably ruffle a few feathers, but as a relatively newer member some of the tribals here make it hard to join the community. Almost every time a thread is started by someone new whether it’s a new topic or asked before, it turns into shit posting and sarcasm and can be very off putting for someone trying to dip their feet in. There are plenty of helpful people but the shit posters just can’t help themselves.

I could not agree more and persnnally wish I had the "balls" to say it!!! No matter what I write (ORIGINAL) for the benefit of others, I still feel it's a waste of time, but will persevere for what its worth. No axe to grind but this seems to be the case for "Newbies"!

Fair is fair, wouldn't want to be accused of dodging my own theoretical question (so I'll be accused of self-indulgence instead).

I actually don't think I've thrown any first punches, but I am happy to respond to / call out bad behavior (especially when directed with malice towards an other over trivialities). However, I do know that I am not the most tactful nor the most emoji literate person, so I do understand how my tone could be misunderstood (and that it is not always the fault of the reader).

I really only regret one post that I have made and I have apologized to that individual twice (first in a general sense and the second in a more specific manner). Wether that person believes the apology to be sincere or not is out of my control.

In my short time on the site (6mo site / 3mo forums {that's the truth, take it how you will}) there hasn't been a person on the forums that I would say I actually dislike. Sure I get worn out on some time to time but I'm actually a bit of an empath (believe it or not) and see the redeeming qualities in others. And I'm sure there are those that tire of my antics. However, I do not react well to seeing others diminished solely because they are new or have a differing opinion, it reeks of Authoritarianism and censorship. It is why I will always accept new voices, even if they are different, even if my faith in them is ultimately proved wrong, because I cannot stand to witness the oppression.

But, that's just me, I'm a fucking weirdo.
