Not chocolate, everyone brings chocolate (girls will now jump in to tell you chocolate is fine, this is a public forum, they are lying as to not hurt the feelings of every fella that brings them chocolate, chocolate is not fine).
If you know the girls particular tastes, coffee or perfume could be nice.
Thoreau's idea of the teddy bear is a nice touch. I like the idea of giving a small trinket that represents something we've talked about or references something she enjoys outside of work (this too could all be in a trash heap somewhere, but I feel good about it).
