Great idea videos. It would great to make it available to as many mobile phone users as possible. Not everyone has the latest i-phone or google phone, or the very best nokia etc.

So it'd be great to make a choice the videos in different formats available to accommodate as many mobile phones as possible with options for a choice of low, medium, and high resolutions available.

Ok, although my E-I video plans have been warmly welcomed on this thread, away from this thread, in private, several ladies have told me they are very unhappy with the proposal.

Two issues have come up:

[1] It's not fair that I said I will only allow real videos, i.e. not picture slideshow videos.

A couple of ladies have said this is not fair, they don't have a video camera to make a real video, but they would perhaps make a slideshow of pictures in windows movie maker and upload that, and why shouldn't they be allowed to?

I said only real videos, as I guess I think videos should be videos not picture slideshows?

[2] The proposed featured or latest videos slot should not be added to homepage, it is highly unfair that ladies with videos will get any extra exposure over ladies who don't.

Several ladies feel quite strongly about this, saying they will never put a video up, they believe to do so would invade their privacy, and they feel if this homepage slot idea goes ahead it is like E-I trying to force ladies to get videos in order to compete and that is very wrong and unfair. They don't mind if E-I lets ladies add a video to their profile, if that's what certain ladies want to do, but they object to videos being featured on hompage or anything else which gives ladies with videos more exposure than ladies without videos.

I thought it would be nice to update the homepage a little as it is kinda boring right now. Plus I thought we should encourage ladies to get videos, as it is a good thing, it is moving with the times etc. Also, I think we have to add some featuring of videos on the site, even if a box on the homepage isn't part of that, to not do so wouldn't be user friendly? But because several ladies have objected so strongly to this I think I have to reconsider.

Any feedback on these issues from clients. There is a thread about this in the private ladies forum if any ladies with to give feedback on these issues away from this public thread.

Videos are now added to profiles. Escorts you can add a video now, anytime 24 hours a day, just go to the advertiser area. At the moment escorts can only have 1 video, but we intend to increase this to 3 very shortly. Here are 2 examples of escorts with videos:

Cindy, Cork Female Independent Escort, profile on Escort Ireland
Sabrina Love, Dublin TS Independent Escort, transsexual escort, profile on Escort Ireland

These are actually the only 2 live ads with videos as of now.

The position of the video on the page isn't ideal, I think we have to re-jig the layout and find a better spot for it. We will do that soon.
