    He really was someone, an extremely gifted yet down to earth unforgettable musician. His voice was so genuine and just honest.

    Awh thats sad news about shane. So many good songs over the years with the pogues and also with the dubliners, kirsty mccoll and sinead o connor.     I saw The Pogues in Carrickmacross in the eighties. It was just mental, overcrowded, sweat dripping off us, place full of smoke, broken glass and blood on the floor and we couldn't really hear the sound was awful. It was a great night! 😁
