Never watch the Toy Show myself. To be honest even when I was a child I don't remember watching it and the Late Late was obligatory viewing in our house every Saturday night.

Don’t knock it until you try it, even for 15 minutes.. the programme is a good guide for beginners in buying toys , be that uncles/ grandparents or others. While it can fuel expectations parents can guide kids as to what is feasible.I know of it but as it's on RTE I'll give it a wide berth! I can understand why young kids would be interested in it bit I fail to see why the media gets into a tizzy of it
It does have the touch of nostalgia, family and festive season.
Yes please, I will watch most of it ( even the bits where I think the parents of the performer should have known better and the child will not thank them 10 years from now)
