Just own it, im not saying its progressive but there are thousands of Afghans/Algiers in Ireland going about their business.

You cant praise Brazilians, when i have pointed out 4 of them were a rape gang, and condemn other nationalities and come out squeaky clean.

There is a difference between moving freely in the EU and asylum seeking.
Case in point, Josef Puska came to Ireland from the EU, he had a passport, he is not undocumented.
More rigourous checks should have been implemented.

People seeking asylum dont need a passport in all scenarios but there is a process for letting them in.

Not what I've asked is it. I asked how many times have you gotten on a plane without a passport. You need a passport or identification to leave any country that has flights coming into Ireland. So tell me how do the manage to book seats and pass through passport control in countries to get here?

Im talking about asylum, welldressed shared links for people turning up without a passport.
That ONLY happens in asylum seeking.
For hopping between Europe of course noone can do that without a passport, including me.

This thread has devolved into everything but the attack from yesterday.
What is known, they won't confirm that it is an Algerian but they can confidently say that he's been here for 20 years. There is unconfirmed reports that he may have something in his past that is not public knowledge yet, I will post it if it turns out to be true until then it's hearsay.
They still haven't arrested this man for some unknown reason. I suspect that they don't want to as his details will be public knowledge.
The government has failed it's people on multiple fronts yesterday.

What Arab countries are taking them in?

There are currently 6 million people in the Palestinian diaspora. 4 million of those are in the Jordan (3.2 million), Lebanon (500k), Egypt and Saudi Arabia (about 300k each)

For Syria, again about 6 million have fled. Turkey (not Arab, but Muslim) have 3.8 million, Lebanon has almost a million, Jordan about 700k.
