We do agree on a lot .....
Hey, WC (unfortunate abreviation)
We agree on a lot, I have posted here about the apathy that permeates Irish society. It's a consequence of the me fein mentality. People are content to watch the weaker in society perish, once they feel secure. It's like controlled anarchy, the strong will survive & weak shall perish.
They say that a society can be judged by how well it looks after it's weakest members & Ireland is a perfect example of a disfunctional society. All NAMA & the rest of the "corrections" being implemented are simply to return the status quo (not the fuckin' band I hope !) so the bankers & other elitist fat-cats can be returned to their rightful places.
I was strongly in favour of our government cutting dole to all long-term recipients during the almost full-employment of the last decade. Lazy bastards will never work if they didn't go get a job then. As a tax payer I object to paying for spongers who don't & won't ever contribute to society.
I am all for a revolution, the little people who continually pick up the tab need to grow a pair & demand changes in our political system, inequality, judicial system, social welfare system, the culture of paying our highest earners multiples of what they get in other countries etc. etc.
Fianna Fail are a cancer, the sheep who continually vote for them deserve what we've got. Waht frightens me most is that by election time (mid 2012) the economy should be picking up & the sheep will vote the fuckers in again. If that happens I will consider packing my bags again.
