Maybe this long post that follows would have been better a a new thread?
If so, mods feel free to remove my post and add it as a new thread.
What exactly is a trusted reviewer ??
Like most people here, I find it funny that I never seen a clear explanation & definition of what a trusted reviewer should be.
So how can we trust a reviewer and also justify the reasons we are trusting him if anybody question it?
Have a look below, it's pretty straightforward. If people have more to add, please do so.
1. The obvious IP checks of the reviewer / reviews.
I believe this is done regularly with all reviews or most of them anyway, so no need to comment any further.
2. The number of his reviews
Most people would tend to believe reviewers with more reviews.
There are many people here with only a few reviews that always shown an impeccable judgement, however there is always the risk of contesting such a reviewer if given the medal with the simple argument of: "why should I trust your reviews, you have seen "x" girls only".
Therefore the idea of looking into the reviewers with more reviews has a very logical base.
Meeting more escorts would make the reviewer definitely more experienced in this regard.
3. The quality / content of the reviews
Even with lots of reviews, there are currently reviewers that are not really the best in the "trust" department.
Trusted reviews would have to provide us with important details about the escort and the appointment.
Just as an example, too often I read reviews such as "she is the best", "what a beautiful girl", "superb body, beautiful service" etc ... and nothing to much added on top of that.
We get it ... the reviewer was pleased in this cases but that doesn't answer any questions in regard to the way the escort operates, her level of professionalism, the attitude etc ...
There are as well reviews where the reviewer doesn't do anything else then just basically write a silly love letter !!!
The escort(s) in cause might be great but doesn't mean the next potential client might have a crush on that escort as well !!! He will be looking for something more factual.
Therefore, yeah, personal opinions are welcome, everybody is entitled to their own. But if the reviewer only talks about general things that anybody could see from the pictures or simply write a review because he is itching to please the escort(s) for whatever silly reason, then even if his IP checks out and he has a lot of other reviews, he is nothing more then a reviewer, not a trusty reviewer !
4. Type of reviews - look out for extremes
Too many negatives? Shows that the person is really unlucky or maybe extremely hard to please.
Either way, statistically speaking, the normal punter does not have so many bad experiences when we look at the current E-I reviews statistics:
66.4% of Irish punters said they were very satisfied
12.2% said they were fairly satisfied
4.3% said they were neither satisfied or dissatisfied
3.5% said they were fairly dissatisfied
7.2% said they were very dissatisfied
Just to simplify: 78.6% of the reviews are positive (very and fairly satisfied), 4.3% neutral and 10.7% of the reviews would be negative (very and fairly dissatisfied).
In lame men's terms, as I am not the best when it comes to explaining, for every negative review in the system there are 7 positive reviews and almost half (!) of a neutral review.
Let's just take a well known punter and his reviews (not telling who )
Excluding N/A s, which are not in fact reviews per se, this guy has: 46.9% positive reviews, 25% negative reviews and 28.1% neutral reviews.
Using the same lame comparation as the main statistic, this guy has for every negative review almost 2 positive ones (3 - 4 times more then the average) and one neutral (double the average).
Smart guys may use the reviews of such an extreme reviewer to their advantage, i.e. read in between the lines. A positive review would be in this situation an almost guarantee for the smart guys that they are in for a serious good time. But the big disadvantage ... what about the greys and the negatives? People are left guessing if it was really deserved or it was just a case of "I'm much more exigent then anybody else here" reviewer
Same thing goes for positive reviews. Too many of them? Some guys have a fantastic time with ALL the escorts?
Really lucky guys or not at all exigents in regard to the services received. Maybe also a 3rd category of "privileged" E-I punters: any moderator, any reputable punter making an appointment and letting the escort know who he is in advance, would more likely have nothing to complain about the services of an escort.
Either way, not the norm here, as a trusted reviewer should not be the luckiest guy alive, or the very easy to please (do what you want with me) guy, or someone very well known.
P.S. I agree that doing your punter's homework regarding an escort it usually pays off, but even then there is a chance that something could go wrong, especially to punters who very often visit escorts.
5. Frequency of reviews
Obviously someone seeing an escort once a year is less likely to be trusted in his opinions.
He may be either too horny to avail in full of a service, his memory may be a little fussy to compare with the previous sessions etc ...
6. Postings & blogs
While this is not a necessity in my opinion and many trusted reviewers are not posters here (see Scankman), any E-I activity surely helps to establish who we can trust and who not.
Someone who is too foolish, childish, rude, arrogant, constantly looking for arguments etc ... could have not one, but ten medals next to their name and no respectable punter is going to take them seriously.
So just to summarise:
- Decide a minimum number of reviews that a reviewer must have in order to qualify.
- Spot check the content of some of the reviews to see if it refers at least to: physical appearance of the escort, the attitude, the type of service / technique received.
- Compare visually the negative vs positives.
If there are too many negatives, check them out and see if they have been accorded for really bad things like: not the girls in the pic, asked for more money then agreed, refused to do services but took the money, unpleasant / violent behaviour, bareback sex offers, put the client out quickly even with substantially more time remaining and paid for etc ...
If the negative review was given for very mild reasons (something silly like she was 2 pounds heavier, the room was cold, she just didn't do it for me), please reconsider/
If there are too many positives and they do not mention / describe at all the services received (or if they are really idealistically described), please also reconsider.
- Decide the limits of how often a reviewer should visit an escort to make him trusted. At least a review every 6 months, 3 months etc ...
- Just as an additional measure, check also a few recent postings. If this member is usually contributing to the community, more likely his reviews would be the same.
Additional aid for people who are in fact trusted here even if they don't qualify in all the points above:
- E-I members' suggestions to accord someone a medal, followed up by a a voting system.
Coming back on Black Cat being a trusted reviewer or not, I don't know the guy.
He may be genuine and he maybe just made a couples of mistakes with no bad intention.
But seeing that a trusted reviewer should be ... well, trusted , I would reccomend a little caution.
I wanted to write a little more but I just realised the time ... another wasted night for me
(Currently posting using ID "Sensual Delights")
I agree with all Karin typed (good effort!) on review status...
but to update....I had a lengthy chat with black cat today who actually as he stated earlier doesnt care for his badge status but is amused ( as i am) at such an uproar.. i will continue to see him..badge or no badge...
BLACK CAT I LOVE YOU....
xx
Like I said, I'm getting way too hung up on this, I have put my points across, up to the mods to decide, I'm not trying to ruin your reputation as you are I have no doubt a genuine punter but there are a few things like your mistake with Anna, your mistake with Mia that to me disqualifies you as a trusted reviewer. At no point (i think) did I accuse you of making completely fake reviews or else I would be saying all your reviews should be ratted but false / incorrect are correct ways to describe your "mistakes".
I wish you well and I thought you were having a chuckle about this, according to Zara anyway
