Pity about Aston Martin - such a great start of the season and now they are so at the back of the pack.

What happened with Williams? Such a great pace up until the qualy...

With the long straight from the start, ferrari have used a tactic before {Russia) of slotting the second car behind the first, slip streaming and denying the 3rd car the place, 2nd car takes the lead and then sorting it out later in the race. But I'd doubt if Max will take part in orchestrated racing.

Aston Martin really did fall off, was there a regulation change two months ago that seemed to send them backwards?

No regulation change, a lot of other teams brought upgrades and improvements and they just did not keep up. Pity, Fernando Alonso one of the best drivers but needs a better car.

They brought ''improvements'' which did not work as improvements but make the whole package give worse results. Fernando says the data (on paper) looks good, yet, for some reason he can not extract the best out of the car. Not him, not Lance.

If Fernando can’t do then lance def won’t be able only there because of his dad.

Max Verstappen leads as the home hero Sergio Perez retires. Pity since he got an incredible start.

Charles Leclerc did not get a good start. Damage but still running second.

    Lewis Hamilton up to fourth.
Chance to close on second place in points with Sergio Perez out.

Ferrari starting to suffer tyre degradation. Carlos Sainz vulnerable to Lewis Hamilton.
Charles Leclerc still second despite front wing damage after that dramatic collision with Sergio Perez.
Max Verstappen pits for hard tyres
    Charles Leclerc inherits the lead.

Max Verstappen's real competition here is Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton pits. Chance to undercut Ferrari.
    Max Verstappen up to third.

Ferrari trying to make the tyres last and have fresher tyres towards the end of the race.

Max Verstappen will have to look after his tyres. Early stop so longer to go for a one-stop. He may have to pit again.
