Hotels have been the subject of many threads. This week, an escort who is a good friend of mine had a rude awakening about working in hotels. She has worked from a well known, city hotel, in Derry for years without any issues. This city hotel has been the venue for many a pleasant morning for me in Derry and holds great memories.
The escort in question and her friend checked in separately. The hotel placed them in different floors, in rooms opposite the lifts. These rooms were covered by CCTV outside the lifts.
My friends colleague saw one client for a 30 min appointment. Directly after the appointment the manager knocked on her door and told her to leave, otherwise he would call the police. The hotel kept all the ladies money, no refund was offered for the remaining nights she had booked.
My escort friend contacted me in a very difficult and stressful position to ask my advice. She had seen no clients as yet, but had a 30min booking in one hour. She knew that the same fate was going to happen to her once she saw her client.
My advice was not to see the client. She knew that she would have to leave the hotel anyway. I told her it would be better for her to leave on her own terms and avoid the humiliation of being asked to get out. She had asked twice for a change of room, but the hotel refused, they had placed these ladies where they could monitor them with CCTV and funneled them into a trap.
As my friend had not seen any clients yet, technically she was just another guest until the hotel could prove otherwise. I told her to go to the reception and ask for her money back because the room was older, tired and shabby. I also told her to say she was a light sleeper and that the noise from foot traffic using the lifts would keep her awake all night. I further advised her that if they accused her of working as an escort to become angry, stand her ground and tell they how dare they accuse her. The important thing was to get out with a refund.
My escort friend took my advice and the manager gave her full refund and checked her out. The hotel needed evidence and without this they couldn't prove that she was working from their premises as an escort. However, they did let her know that they were monitoring the website and that her friend had been asked to leave. My friend just told them she didn't know what they were talking about and insisted on a full refund; fair play to her for standing her group and following through.
I worked for years in conflict and I was always trained to do the unexpected because it threw people off, to attack instead of runt and to withdraw out of a situation on my terms while staying in control of the environment around me. This is exactly what my friend did, the hotel never expected her to have the balls to walk up to the front desk and demand a refund; this threw them off guard.
I have heard that the city hotel in Derry that I am writing about has done this before to escorts. They have asked them to leave without refunding the money for the other nights they had booked that week.
So what do you think, are hotels still safe to visit escorts in, this city hotel in Derry certainly seems burned as a location for meeting ladies.
Perhaps, someone can advise escort their legal rights are if they are asked to leave a hotel; does the hotel have the right to keep all their money, or should the hotel refund the escort for other nights they had booked?
The city hotel I'm writing about was a great spot, but it seems that the management are now monitoring the website which is a real shame.
Perhaps, I have retired at just the right time lol. If anyone is interested I'm still loving my new way of life and being in a relationship. I have known this lady for 26 years and I have seen a whole new firey side to her that I didn't know existed.
So guys and girls if you are going to use hotels in the city say frosty and keep your head on a swivel because you never know who is watching you on CCTV lol!
While I was active I always preferred a quiet apartment to hotels and with this final thread I respectfully rest my case and say goodbye.
