Default It's that shitty time of year again.

Dark mornings and nights. Of course in a few weeks the mornings will brighten and nights will shorten. Then it goes on until both mornings and nights are dark. It peaks 21st December and then it's 6 mins less darkness each day until clocks move again.

Definitely a shitty few dark months ahead. The thing I don't like about living in Ireland! If I was rich I'd spend the winter in Barbados!

where are you getting the six minutes from?
It gets darker or brighter (depending what side of the solstice we are) by one minute each day not 6.

Regardless of the clocks moving forward or back. if it was six minutes each day it would be getting darker by 42 minutes a week or by about two hours a calendar month

it gets darker by about half an hour a month leading up to the 21st then equally and obviously brighter by One minute each day till the 21st of June

March and September 19th-23rd we have the equinox equal day and night.

Its my favourite time of year… I hate coming out of a nightclub or a session and it’s bright!

I have enjoyed a number of visits to Dubai, The last time I went I noticed that the Hotel prices were far cheaper than previous visits (and I an talking five star)
But the cost of food and drink had gone up considerably, nice for a bit of sun though. Enjoy

Cheers , taxi fares will add up too! I got a decent hotel with free breakfast for €105 a night , has gym & rooftop pool & near the metro station.

i'm going to a golf tournament over there , 1st day of the race to dubai!

Second best time of the year, after spring(End of March-April-May)
    Nature is the most colourful,all yellow,red,green :-)
And it's still warmish, but not roasting or freezing cold...
    Winter is what I hate.
