Bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy isn't it. Indoctrinate the masses to be unaccepting of others who may hold different beliefs. Under the guise of acceptance and love proclaim that all must be converted. When others are unwilling to forfeit their own beliefs to assimilate, use that as a call to arms. Whip the fellowship in to a frenzy, point them in a direction, sit back and wait for the dust to settle..... Rinse and repeat. Organized religion really is my favorite form of fascism.

Point out the time when the world was peaceful???
People dying or murdered,200 years ago people dropped dead from a common flu or a finger cut-not mention getting knifed...This is actually a reasonably peaceful period(at least around Europe...)
Sure the flip-side is no one had a button that could end it all...
The bible is lovely book,especially the first part is real child friendly,LOL
Wish people just treat it as a book,instead of killing each other in the name of whichever holy text you want to pick.

I knew there were smart conations people out there and I’m so glad I get to see this here .
This is the reality you believe or not .

Might be suffering from a bit of recency bias there. There are points in "ancient history" in which about 25-30% of the global population were enslaved (not to forget about the triangular trade during colonization). The Jewish from the middle ages to WWII might also have a different take on where peak shite falls. Or maybe that one time when the health standards for living were so low that 1/3 of the European population died... The only real difference is now our "world" is bigger due to technical advanced (and smaller to to bad actors manipulating said advanced for their own purposes {money, social engineering, etc}).

Also probably should have mentioned the most oppressed / objectified / subjugated group from the advent of monotheism to...well, we're still waiting for an end date, women.
