    Anyone saying otherwise is crazy.

Imagine though, if someone said this was the Israeli governments fault for their war crimes.
Thats effectively what that Goliath guy is saying about Palestinians in his post, its all on Hamas. No liability for the people doing the attacking.

The rabbi of the Dagestani city of Derbent, Ovadia Isakov,

told local media that the future of the estimated 300-400 Jewish families in Dagestan was in doubt.

Jews have had a presence in the region since pre-Islamic times.

: perhaps RELOCATE those 300 - 400 Jewish families from their ancestral homes : for their protection like .

Like Palestinian people were ‘relocated’ . // <<< wry .

Mob violence has NO place . Anywhere .

Totally agree Stephanie, antisemites cannot be allowed to take advantage of this situation.

I do appreciate justified Mod violence from time to time though

    Not right .
If I said "Palestinians in Gaza may unfortunately pay with their lives for their administration's actions and policy" I can imagine many people here would think that I was trying to downplay something.

What I see in this debate is people calling out the hypocrisy on the other side while defending and downplaying it on their own.

Hamas has a right to resist. Ok, well Israel has a right to defend its existence. But Israel doesn't have the right to break international law. True. Neither does Hamas.

If you've (you general, not you specifically Stephanie) picked your side and everything from hereonin is confirmation bias then then grand. If the actions of Israel against civilians is dispicable but the actions of Hamas against civilians is legitimate resistance or the unfortunate necessary collateral in response to Israel's existence and history then this isn't a debate really.

If you're starting point is thay Israel.or Palestine should be obliterated from the earth, then I'm not gonna debate with you because we have nothing that can be bridged in understanding and solving the problem.

Criticism of Israel isn't antisemitism, but antisemitism long predates modern Israel, and it never went away.

It is comforting to know that war is such a genteel civilised activity regulated by so many rules.
I'm surprised it is actually conducted by soldiers and not lawyers.

Its not that deep, the general thing is to not knowingly and consciously bring the civilian population into any fighting. It doesnt require a law degree.

Again i dont think anyone is picking sides.
    The issue here is that:
Hamas has targetted Israeli civilians in abhorrent attacks and faced universal condemnation, I dont know anyone who hasnt said its a massive tragedy.
People might try and say its not a new thing and theres cause and effect.

Israel has responded with woeful disregard for civilian life and literal governments have responded with support for this, its condemned in some quarters but defended in a lot of others.
And its like the cause is 7th October and effect is whatever happens next.
    Its bollox.

    Noone cared before 7th October.
    Thats the real hypocrisy.
    Its an unfair game.

US at it again creating wars and pretending to help, as the Ukraine war rages on and all destroyed and so many innocent dead they move on to another war where so many innocent youths are killed.
we hear so much fake media now and there no talk of peace, the real evil ones are the leaders and people at the top.
we need more people standing up and say ceasefire and put pressure on corrupt governments to say Stop.... we dont support this....it gone too far and too many innocent people are dying
