So I was tempted to experience the beautiful ladies, and lady boys, of Thailand next year. I don’t want it to just be a shag ship though. It looks like a beautiful country with a rich history. Dirt cheap compared to Rip Of Republic ( home )or Japan

Has anyone been there? Any advice?

If your in Bangkok take the bts train to move from/to to the various location during the day, made the mistake of walking in the heat not nowing there was a train there, cheap too btw or download and use GRAB they are the uber/deliveroo of Asia. GRAB is my goto taxi app and food delivery, when I was with a lady in my hotel and we didn't want to leave we just used GRAB to get food and when it was time for her to go home I called a GRAB taxi to send her home which she appreciated hahaha.
I highly recommend going to nana plaza there i meet some of the most craziest girls hahaha.

And if your in phuket I'd recommend just renting a bike it's east to ride instead of using tuktuks and the ladies will be impressed lol. And if your into ladyboys in Bangla Road there was a street full of em.

And no matter where you are in Thailand if you are walking in the heat and can't stand it find the nearest 7/11 or a mall as they have air-conditioning on all the time. Its a very hot country.

Hope you will enjoy your trip there and one big advice ALWAYS WEAR A CONDOM it can be tempting, but trust me it's not worth it, I've learned my lessons!!

Thanks for the detailed reply, much appreciated. Yeah deffo wear a condom over there especially if it’s anal with a ladyboy. Natural sex is the best but anal in (especially) in Thailand is just not worth it.

Checked how long it takes from Heathrow to Bangkok…12 hours roughly. I guess it would be worth it in the end, you can live like an emperor for cheap in that country.

Yeah the air conditioning…ha ha. I was thinking of going over in early Spring. One of my main concerns is naughty escorts robbing money from tourists��. I don’t know if that’s a stereotype but I heard a few stories. Kind of makes me feel I can’t have a few beers and chill out cause my guard would have to be constantly up as the population is so dense also

I’ll skip on the bicycle. I’m on holiday not a workout. Ha ha ��

Don't do the Heathrow Bangkok flight it is 12 hours but it's terrible and BA were terrible too, I've done most routes and Qatar to Doha and on to Bangkok is good but the best route only leaves you an hour connection l they will hold the flight for you if late but you need a little break in the middle.
So I'd recommend emirates into Dubai you get about 3 hours to relax have a pint and both options above are like 6.5 hours for both flights better than the London 12hr that was the worst 2 flights of my life.

Bangkok is expensive, an hour taxi down to Pattaya and it's like 50% cheaper, unfortunately I had to spend most of my time in Bangkok and spent a lot, got to spend 3 days in Pattaya and it was great but not much to see is the only issue.

Yeah I’d recommend Emirates for flights. Breaks into two medium haul flights instead of one short haul and one long haul. Overall time the same but you feel lot less jet lagged. Personally I much prefer Pattaya to Bangkok, I like the relaxed beach vibe.

I agree completely but if you haven't been there it's still a great place to travel for sightseeing and for the sexlife. The girls are more expensive now than before. Also there is a lot more rich asian tourist there now, the Indians, Koreans and Japanese will come in and take the best looking girls, which is a shame, but it is what it is.
Still thailand is a must visit, just to experience it once.

Yes, I go each yearly for a longer trip, like 6-7+ weeks, and I also lived there full time for a good few years in the past. I highly recommend that you go to Thailand for the ladies etc.

Whilst Bangkok is a great place to visit, for a first time visitor, especially if you go alone, it can be very overwhelming due to the bustling vibrancy and the size of the place. Most tourist might stay around the Nana area which has loads of bars etc for western tourists, Nana Plaza etc. Soi Cowboy which is another street with bars is not too far away. Plus loads of other areas too.

You might do a couple of days in Bangkok either at the beginning or end of your holiday just to see it. However I recommend that you go down to Pattaya, which these days is only about 90 minutes in a taxi from the airport (about 30 euro fare). When you get more experience, say on your second or third holiday back there, you'd be more experienced to do more time in Bangkok if you wanted to, and if you didn't go there, there is plenty in Pattaya.

Pattaya has it all and more. The main areas are quite small, so it is easy enough to figure out over a couple of days, especially if you do your research in the months before you go, learn the different areas and what goes on there on youtube etc. All sorts of hotels from basic cheap right through to 5 star to suit all pockets & tastes.

While it has gotten a bit more expensive that what it once was, it is still for the most part way way cheaper than here. I tend to stick to MILFs, and still only about 1000 B (Euro 27 approx) for a full service. Of course if you go with the most beautiful, sexy, premium go go girls, that will cost more, maybe 3000 B+ (so say 100 euro), may you can afford that. However if you cannot, not to worry as there is lots other, in fact endless options too. Massages shops tend to be good value, and many will give you FS (thats my go to type of place).

Food & drink is not expensive, and you can eat out for pennies on the euro over there.

I've never been to Phuket, and to be honest I have no interest in going there, as it is supposed to be more expensive, and the people not as friendly.

So for me and my recommendation, it will be Pattaya, as it's just down the road from the airport, got all you need, and there's plenty of other things to do around there. Ultra-modern shopping malls, night markets, temples, tourist attractions, nice beaches a few KM down the coast from Pattaya etc.

Also it is a completely safe place to visit. The key is to be polite, gentle & smile to Thai people. All the years I've been there, I find Thailand and Thai people to have a non-aggressive vibe. Of course, like anywhere, you have to watch you belongings, but in general I've never ever felt threatened or unsafe in Thailand, yet I feel on edge here in Ireland if i walk down O'Connell St at 8pm.

It's a great place IMHO, and if you like it, once you get a taste of it, it is very hard to visit or holiday anywhere else ever again!
