I used to prefer evening meets (around 8pm). You can build up some excitement for the upcoming appointment throughout the day. Nice way to relieve some stress too after a long day at work.

But now due to various reasons I can only punt morning/noon most days (around 12pm). I would still prefer the evenings, but noon punts aren't bad either

yeah, evenings are fun but unless I'm overnight somewhere its not going to happen, energy levels are higher in the morning for me as well so pre noon is ideal

I am a morning visitor, usually aim to be first punter in if I can. 10-11am ish.

Also another reason I prefer mornings, is I think it is better for security, e.g. less chance of the law observing punting comings & goings at that time, and I'm assuming it is more to evening that seems to happen?

That’s a good point about evenings. One of the most exciting aspects for me is the anticipation, hours of it, rather than deciding to book at the last moment.
