If you could prove that you received no sexual services, and there was never any understanding that you would, I think it is legal.

    Good luck with that!

    This said it can happen.
It has happened me twice, but in fairness more than 10 years apart, and I visit a lot of escorts

    So don't worry.
This said you could be unlucky so it can happen.

It happened me recently and like someone else who posted here recently that had a similar experience, he sought and I sought legal advice.
I had previously been advised so I knew what is possible and what is likely.

Unfortunately I was found 6 inches deep so I found a plausible excuse difficult.
Best I could think of was my clothes were wet, I was invited to dry them by a very kind young lady and so I took them off to dry them. Unfortunately I tripped and fell into her
Didn't seem particularly plausible so I just stayed quiet and listened to the Gardai tell me how all girls are trafficked.
Hmmm, I don't believe this because I know a lot of girls and a lot of personal information about many of my friends and they know mine. I don't believe they are trafficked.

Anyway, very unlikely you need to be worried.
I've well over 500 reviews and I tend to take risks and I've had very few issues.
Play it a bit safer, well reviewed experienced escorts and I really believe you'll be fine
What happened in this case, Tony? Were you charged, fined, cautioned, or is it still in process?

same over here tony but no law passed yet like in Ireland and other European countries and another example of the Irish government licking Europe dirty ass
its all bullshit, if you want to bring in a STUPID LAW you must have good reason to do so or else make up lies and so they say Sex Trafficking, It does exist yes but not near to the extent they peddle and the media are as bad so if you want to get rid of a certain profession you made up lies and brain wash the people thats its in everyones best interest

Told they may prosecute but they didn't say for what. I'm told they have a year to issue a summons but hopefully they are nice and won't bother.

This is important stuff Tony, and I really think you can help others here. Did you seek legal advice from a solicitor ? Did he tell you what would proofs that the Gardai require to have gathered up and put in place before they can give the green light to attempt a prosecution ?

For most attached guys in particular, there is no victory in successfully defeating a prosecution taken in Court unfortunately ( so smoke without a fire ........etc ).Damage is already done,

I'm not a lawyer but I would guess that there is a short checklist of things that the gardai must be able to tick ?

My guess is that there are certain nuts ( no pun intended ) and bolts that must be involved. Finding money and therefore at least the implication that it changed hands must be the No.1. The parties found naked can't be good either. I understand that Garda gain entry to incalls by pretending to be clients.I would be fully in favour of your room being locked to give some time in order to take some immediate measures to prepare. ( from the inside ).

    Trafficked.

Apparently, the Gardai are only interested in visiting /investigating incalls where they suspect some element of trafficking ..... is this correct in anyone's experience/knowledge ?

Can someone please explain , in layman's language, what the Gardai will consider as being ' trafficked ' ? I presume that there must be some element of the lady being obliged/forced to escort under pressure from another person(s) ?

Well I paid for a barristers opinion on that, and that's not what he thought.
I'll stick with the professional opinion
