Default Knowing someone in the location.

Was meant to meet a lady today, turns out she's sick so couldn't meet.

Anyways, where her apartment was is in the same area of someone I work with who lives in an apartment.

Which led me to wonder about this scenario.

If you knew someone who lives in the same location that needs a code to enter, would you still visit? How would you react if you ran into them inside the location either before or after a meet? Would you say anything or acknowledge them? What of, in the shock of meeting inside a secure location, they started a convo before a meet, how would you get out of it without causing suspicion or annoyance?

Prob other questions could arise but just thought about this and realised I have absolutely no idea what I would do
Holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die

Lol, I grew up beside a happy hunting ground with apartments build just under 20 years ago. I’ve often met people that know and they say “I didn’t know you live here”. I’ve no problem telling them I’m visiting a friend.
Someone I work with though ye, I’d swerve the location if I’m honest

If I knew in advance I would avoid. I ended up in this scenario recently, old colleague bumped into me, surprised to see me, I just said I was doing a job in the area and changed the conversation immediately. Spent about 7-8 mins chatting asking him about his kids etc., then left, a close enough call, Ireland really is a small country!

Depending on your relationship , I’d say it’d be weird to Not acknowledge them ?

    How ‘bout :: “ Hey , how you doin’ ? I didn’t know you lived here ? How’s the kids ? “

If asked what You’re doing there - just a casual “Ah , I’m just dropping off a file / a tool / something : whatever

would pertain to your profession / trade ?

Other than polite small talk you owe No explanation to Anyone . The more casual and relaxed you are ,

the less thought will be given to your presence at that location - whoever you might run into x

2 . How to get Out of a convo ? : Honestly >> “Listen , I’m under a bit of pressure with the traffic an’ all ,

how ‘bout we catch up in a bit in the office / next grill” — whatever works for you in Your life .

There’s an art to small talk : how to start , how to do , how to extricate yourself . Direct approach best imo .

: also : you cutting the convo short : you come off as the more dominant of the two of ye .

Never a bad position to be in . Just be polite . And forgettable lol x
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

Bumping into someone you know in their own home apartment block, is easier to explain than bumping into same person when you're both 60 miles from home.

Ok I live in an apartment in Belfast, I don't but to go with the scenario, it's keycoded and there are 6 or 7 apartments in this block. I know you from work and you live in Ballynahinch and have just ran into you in the corridor. How do you explain why you are there?

Plus, if you live in an apartment block, good chance you will know if an escort works there
