But an expensive apartment block surrounded by expensive privately owned houses in a small estate is in my opinion a raid waiting to happen.

Better an apartment in a busy block where all the apartments are rented by foreigners.
Rented / foreigners are the least likely to complain.
Private / expensive, most likely and most likely to be listened to.

Usually, neighbors notify the management or the landlord. They rarely call the police. And if they do call, they won't come with a warrant, I can assure you 100%. A warrant isn't issued just because someone made a call; there needs to be some evidence and hours of surveillance gathered to obtain a warrant. They will come knocking on the door. Contact the management or the landlord first, just as what happened in Dublin, years ago when an elderly lady son recognized the faces of the girls working in an apartment and told to his mom who called the Garda.

Curious to where in Dublin 6 this apartment was? I do punt in the D6 area sometimes so want to avoid any trouble spots. Can PM me if you do not want to post it on the thread.

I was calling to a lady in D6, parked up on a street nearby, was told number 11, no problem I said. Turned the corner and neighbours Chatting on the street. Got to number 11 but it was either number 11A or 11B. Rang the lady and she said number 11. I bolted 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I could of asked neighbors which one is the knocking shop.
