    But I'm still here
    I wasn't arrested today.
I could probably put in a word with a few people I know and instead of jail time maybe some community service in Maynooth Nursing home?

She certainly hasn't done you any favours there, if they have her phone you're the last bloke she messaged and sent photos of the raid to - they'd have to wonder why you.

No doubt she was scared and clearly felt she could reach out to you, but it was a bad move on her part. Hopefully it works out okay for her and they don't bother with the phone.

I once had a friend who was caught handling a lot of stolen property, on his phone there was a message sent to myself suggesting something like, if I was around later to collect the other thing, that’d be great.
Amazingly I was never prosecuted for it, we must still believe in the burden of proof and/or have a weak justice system.

Locations raided...hmm... first, you should consider as a client which locations are more likely to be raided by the police. According to this article https://www.irishtimes.com/news/crim...-1.2027797(old article but the reason for raids remained the same and in today days), it seems that locations that have been under surveillance due to suspicion of organized prostitution are targeted. This doesn't necessarily mean that such activities are actually happening there (hence the raids to verify suspicions), but it means that the location is already known to be used for prostitution, often with multiple girls involved (in most cases).

I would suggest that if you want to be safe as a client, you should avoid these well-known locations and instead visit either hotels or girls you've visited before and know that they have been operating safely for many years from their place, without sharing with others. I don't believe, and I haven't heard of the police conducting raids in places where only one escort has been working for years because it's not illegal for one person to work alone, and it doesn't violate any laws that would require a warrant for a raid.

    She wasn't alone.
However I personally think, and this is my own opinion, that this was an unofficial raid by a resident or friend of a resident to put the shits up the girls to move them on.
    This said I don't know.

But an expensive apartment block surrounded by expensive privately owned houses in a small estate is in my opinion a raid waiting to happen.

Better an apartment in a busy block where all the apartments are rented by foreigners.
Rented / foreigners are the least likely to complain.
Private / expensive, most likely and most likely to be listened to.

You are right in 100%, I worked in Dublin in a same apt for 6,5 year and I never had any Garda visit.
& the Garda is checking the girls day time, if they not just knock on the door something is really running there…

There are two different type of client,
one like you, you make an appointment, not texting bullshit questions and you don’t want to be my special friend, you are discreet…

Take a pic about the Garda and send for who? If it’s me I call my solicitor immediately not any client or friend.

A very old man ( not my client) was stopped by Garda in Cork when he left the girl’s apt , he said “ I paid for her company, I am old, I like to talk”, they couldn’t do anything. Of course he didn’t send text about “ but do you do OWO “ “ but do you do this or that” and of course he is not registered here and he didn’t say “ I am xy from the EI”

Yes welfare checks are done to check the well beings of the girls and make sure they are not forced into this. But a raid is something else... raids can lead with arrests ...and troubles for everybody caught in a midlle of one, girls and clients.

I reckon this was a very bad idea to send a picture to TonyB, basically a client (even though she might consider him a friend). If the Garda find this picture sent to him, they will be more likely to think he is the pimp. Never in a million years will they believe she sent that picture to a client. There is no reason an escort would send such a picture to a client. Common sense dictates otherwise.
