Unbelievable - the last lady I was with answered my question about how often she gets tested with 'about twice a year when I go home'... does nobody else think this is a little too seldom? All the girls seem to think once there's a condom involved there's absolutely no risk to either them or the client. They need to be woken up to the actual possibilities before they get hurt themselves or they hurt someone else without even knowing it.

Patricia, as the owner of this website and having been an escort I personally feel you should have more guidance for both punters and girls on how to be safe and exactly how safe 'safer sex' is.

For a start I'm guessing these girls have never heard of HPV, Herpes, Lice, Scabies, Ring Worm etc!

with regards to this the treatment is actually called postexposure prophylaxis (PEP)

and like i say it doesnt always work but if started within the first 72hrs of infection it can kill the infection.

believe me. if i had known this i could have been ok. they dont teach this shit in school, in ireland. do they?

as for everyone else who doesnt believe me. well you have absolutely nothing to worry about with regards to HIV once you use a condom.
Yes it's true about this drug. But as far as I know it's only available in USA.

I have read about this drug now, my apologies for my last post but the information I have read is that the drug should should be started 1 hour after infection for the best reults and as you were not in a normal cognitive framne of mind when you were infected you would have lost your best window of opertunity to be cleansed of this diesase. As you said you can take it up to 72 houyrs later but your chances of a recovery gets limited every hour that passes.

hi jake am sorry about ur....... but something not clicking right here with me and ur story, u mean you discovered u had HIV or symptoms after 11 days of been with the suppose escort?????? well as a previous biochemisty student, the incubation period of HIV is atleast three months, that means....symptoms can finally start after that i suppose. if is chlamydia i will say yes because it is a bateria here not a virus, so in this case the incubation period can be hours or couple of days depending on the host organism

    thanks for replies.

in response i can say yes i have slept with non escorts without a condom.

but it is a very rare thing for me. 4 girls in my whole life. two were girlfriends, one a one night stand, and the other this black escort.

and i agree with the point about regular girls having as good a chance of carrying an std.

the point is you or i or anyone could never know.

but just to clarify my case. i completed a medical for a new job, involving bloodtests, a few months before this happened i.e. before i slept with this escort without a condom. so i know i had no std's.

i sleep with this escort. i get sick 11 days later for two and a half weeks. all typical and expected when initially infected with HIV.

and finally i said black escort because she happened to be black.

she could just as easily have been white, irish, british, european etc etc

its a hazard of the trade. but in my experience too a lot of escorts are extra cautious with their health. which is great.

unfortunately for me some people just dont give a fuck about anything or anyone, but thats in every walk of life.

when you get infected with hiv a person sometimes but not always develops flu like symptoms approx. 2 weeks after initial infection. the symptoms can range from very light and not even noticeable to a very very heavy flu like illness. they last approx 2-3 weeks. if i hadnt just had unprotected sex wiith an escort i wouldnt have taken much notice and would have passed it off as a cold/flu. however i did. so i put two and two together.
the three months you refer to is the time the medical proffession say is needed between getting exposed to hiv and getting tested to get an accurate test result. of course there is quick test etc etc that can give you an accurate indication but not a definite result. for this a "western blot" blood test is needed.
the fact that you are a biochemistry student, and i am also third level educated and didnt know about all these things before it was too late just goes to show how fucked up our education system is. believe me, stay safe

PEP is typical of the American Drug industry.

Its a regime that is given to people with a possible HIV risky encounter.
It blasts you with high dose toxic drugs for several weeks.

However the facts are that it is very difficult to catch HIV.
The official statistics for a male having unprotected sex is 3000:1 .

OK lets say a guy 3001 guys have a "risky" encounter and go to their doctor for PEP.

After the weeks of therepy 3000 will still test negative and 1 may be positive so it is impossible to say weather PEP works or not but this does not bother the Pharma companies as they make a tidy profit on your treatment

    Yes!!!!

The pharmaceutical companies effectively run the health department of governments now. They terrorize people into doing this, that and the other.

Look at these two people and their stories:

Why I Quit HIV by Rebecca V. Culshaw

Peter Duesberg on AIDS - Duesberg.com - HIV / AIDS research website for Peter H. Duesberg.

Most people in Uganda and elsewhere are being killed by the LETHAL cocktails of drugs they're being given and nothing else. AZT is the drug that will destroy your immune system, not some imaginary illness. People say it's HIV but the Ugandans aren't even being TESTED for HIV, they're just being told they have it if they go to the doctor with a headache.

It's so sad how people still think a "doctor" is there to help. A doctor is almost always there to harm you. There is no way a doctor can help you in anything ever, in the exception of the tiniest percentage of cases where something has been caused by man itself. But it's something that would have to be lethal for a doctor to ever help you.

Everything else is PR. Doctors are not there for your good. Your body is there for its good. Really, I'm telling you, NEVER go to see your doctor and especially never take what they tell you to.... except maybe in the exceptional case that you have worked out that it might be good on that occasion, eg. for certain STDs or something.

It's coming out now that the people vaccinated against swine flu shouldn't have been vaccinated at all, but it made millions/billions for the pharmaceutical companies. The whole system, the whole thing is so screwed up from beginning to end and it could end with a virus that gets out of control killing the entire human race.
