Old Punting Spots

With the fine weather this morning, I decided to grab a coffee and go for a long, several hour long stroll around Cork.

I covered quite a bit of ground and I actually ended up passing about 4 places which used to be prime punting spots but have since been taken out, for whatever unfortunate reason.

Brought back some good memories !

One spot in particular near the NDLS in the city centre and another right beside a pharmacy on the street just across the bridge from the gate cinema (If you know, you know

)

Its interesting seeing the migration to different punting spots. Some have stood through time and others unfortunately are no longer being used

Some quare spots in Ireland, drove past two spots that use to house escorts and now thinking what a dive but some crack there

There are some towns and as I walk around them there are few streets that did not have a "spot" at some time.

Sandyford (AKA Randyford). a shadow of it's former self.
Their was a couple of Apartments their that I could have claimed squatters rights in. A golden age..

Ah Yes the golden age of Nadia, Sweet Angel, Sophie Lovelight, Angelia and Biranna.
The memories and I think a couple of those are still active but long gone the day when it was hard to decide between.

I've seen Sophie Lovelight twice when she was in Cork, she's some woman for one woman!

A niece of mine recently stayed in a place that used to be a brothel, I helped her move in. Place had a fresh coat of paint but still had a shower in the corner of each room. I kinda expected to see the old super sir, anybody remember them.
