    Default Man's best friend...

    Today is International dog day

We could learn a thing or two about loyalty and selflessness from our canine companions.

I'm without a dog presently for the first time in over 30 years , lost my buddy last year. I've said goodbye to many dogs over the years and it doesn't get any easier.

Dogs are the best , cats .........not so much
We have two lives , the second begins when we realise we only have one .....

Dogs are loyal, if you died in your house and after a few days the Loyal dog would lay at you side and mourn but them Fecking cats no matter how good you were to them would have a few steaks of you and if the window was open invite a few friends around for supper too.
    Dogs I love

There are two of them in my house. One is a complete nervous nelly and the other is a sex fiend. Every day after his dinner he grabs hold of his own bed, bends it over and goes all the way to town on it.

If that's not enough, the nervous one occasionally takes a fit when he sees the other one riding his bed.....he runs over, grabs his pal by the head and starts fucking him up the nose.

Gets really interesting if this takes place while there are visitors watching.....

Love them, even tho one drives me crazy at times. Their my children, no doubt.

I also love cats, but i understand them. Entirely different to dogs.

Would you not give another Doggy the chance of a loving home? It doesnt mean that you wont miss your buddy any less, however its a great thing to see an animal getting a loving home and a new companion for you..

I was the last person my previous dog spoke to, and im convinced she waited on me to come home before she passed. Unconditional love, thats what a dog gives. No matter what you do.

I've had the same breed for decades and as I have children I'd only get one as a pup , perhaps next year I shall get another one.

All those gobshites who got dogs during Covid and who are now surrendering them to shelter's as they're no longer wanted by them really does infuriate me!!
