I don’t agree about the English being targeted I work with a couple of English lads and they get no hassle.

Ah now, me neither but it's still a kip.
I haven't had hassle, but I expect it

Loads of junkies, Ah man where's me gear.
And idiots on fast electric bike and scramblers doing wheelies with their hood up.

The Gardai should be told to just crash into them and knock them off like is done in the UK.
They're putting innocent people's lives at risk.

    Nope.

8% in lagers and ciders is just asking for trouble.
Verging on hard but goes down too easy.
It's that weird zone between strengths where the brakes completely fail and you end up pissing yourself or worse.

    Nope and nope.

I knew a guy who use drink nothing but snakebites.
He was so obsessed he'd play that Alice Cooper track anytime we'd go back to his.
Twice ... TWICE ... he fell asleep with chip pans on in the kitchen and set his house on fire.
The second time he was dragged out by the firemen.
He eventually drank himself to death.

I saw a bottle in the window of an offy when at the Edinburgh festival, in 2011, and bought it with a mate in a fit of nostalgia for our field drinking days. We were staying in one of the less salubrious areas because the city is booked up about a year in advance.

Only a few weeks later did we find out they stopped making it in 2009!

Ah no, I've drank it before too myself. Like getting kicked in the head by a donkey.

Just never understood how somebody could keep going back to that over and over.

Dublin is a kip, the thing is it always was, it’s like any city, plenty of places you’d need eyes in the back of your head, o Connell street is just an open sewer, blatant pick pocket gangs roaming the length of it but again no different to any big city, Barcelona anyone?, I’ve never had any trouble there but mainly because I’m not wandering around with my brain in neutral, had a great hour during the week and have plans for a longer visit, location and timing is just another part of due diligence, same rules no matter where I am
