I always appreciate something edible. Sleep and food is something we always need in life, so until science makes it possible to gift sleep, it's gotta be food ¯\_( ͠°﹏ ͡°)_/¯ I got pastries, frappé, fruits, chocolate and cocktails so far, the wine and champagne made my friend happy instead. Ever since Fredbiscuits came I've been fantasizing about carbonara, but chicken nuggets should absolutely dethrone chocolate (ꈍ‿ꈍ) FullIrish already makes me horny with his breakfast avatar.

Flowers are kinda rare, maybe guys consider it too emotional? In that regard I'm totally oldschool, fucking love it. It's true that tipping can't go wrong, but as someone stated before, it's the extra effort put into the gift that makes it heartwarming.

I think it's best to pry before a permanent gift whether it's their thing, like what kind of perfume, book, lingerie they are into, but I can also be impressed by creativity, something totally unexpected, like someone threw a pouch of their mother's ashes on P!nk's stage recently. It's your choice how you present yourself.

there ye go, i knew gifts were appreciated more than an extra 50, sure what effort is needed there?, a gift takes a bit of planning, ordering lingerie can be a logistical nightmare for me, can't get delivered to the home address so I'm left hoping that when it lands at the office its in a discrete package, too many nosey types in the world
